Reports reaching us have indicated
that the Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has sent the list of
nominees for commissioners and special advisers to the state House of Assembly
for approval.
It was learnt that the Governor handed over the list of the
nominees in a sealed envelope to the Speaker of the state House of Assembly,.Rt.
Hon. Najeem Salam, yesterday, Wednesday, 12th April, 2017. Our correspondent
learnt that the names of the nominees will be read on the floor of the House of
Assembly today, Thursday.
Although the names of the nominees
have not been named public for now, it was learnt that two former
commissioners: Jibola Bashiru and Muyiwa Ige made list.
