UNDERSTANDING THE BREAKTHROUGH COVENANT
TEXT: “And it shall come to pass, if
thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe
and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy
God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these
blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the
voice of the LORD thy God”. (Deut28: 1-2)
From the above
scripture:
When one
diligently hearkens to biblical instructions and observes to do all that God
commands, supernatural breakthrough shall be the outcome.
Therefore,
breakthrough in life is not a promise, it is a covenant.
This implies
that, until our part is adequately paid, God is not committed. (Ps
89:34)
Our running text
for this series is Eccl 10: 5-18 and here we understand that
when the covenant is broken, breakthrough is impossible.
We shall be
examining the demands of breakthrough in this series.
THE DEMAND OF VISION
“If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to
more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct”. (Eccl 10:10)
Where no vision
is the people perish (Pro 29:18)
It is God’s
backing that makes front liners and God backs His plans and not our plans (1Thess
5: 24, Mk 16:20)
When one is in
his place doing what he should be doing, supernatural breakthrough is what
results. (Jonah 3: 1-10, Joel 2:1-11, Gen 12:1-4, Gen 13:1-2, Gen 26:
1-14)
Everyone belongs
to somewhere, set out to find out where you belong and abide there 1Cor 7: 20,
24)
THE DEMAND OF SKILL
“The labour
of the foolish wearieth every one of them, because he knoweth not how to go to
the city”. Eccle 10:15
Wisdom here
connotes the relevant skill in one’s field.
It takes a
skillful motor mechanic to command breakthrough in his garage.
It takes a
skillful lawyer to command great clientele.
The quality of
any product is a major factor in determining its access to the market.
David had his
breakthrough to the palace through his skillfulness in playing the harp. (1 Sam
16:14-23)
King David was
also said to have guided Israel by the skillfulness of his hands – (Ps 78:72)
Quality training
can turn giants out of riff-rats – the 400 ordinary fellows trained by David,
later emerged as the mighty men of David. (I Sam22: 2-3, II Sam23:8)
Abraham trained
his domestic servants and they became great warriors. (Gen14: 14-20)
Skill is a
covenant requirement for commanding breakthrough in any field.

THE DEMAND OF
DISCIPLINE
“Woe to thee, O
land, when thy king is a child, and thy princes eat in the morning! Blessed art
thou, O land, when thy king is the son of nobles, and thy princes eat in due
season, for strength, and not for drunkenness!” – Eccl10: 16-17)
Discipline can
be defined as the efficient management of time, energy and resources.
Our value for
time is vital in determining our breakthrough
We are called to
make most our time (Eph 5:15-16, Col 4:5)
The quality of
time invested in one’s field is a proof of one’s commitment to one’s
assignment.
As I often said,
“you cannot be committed and not be creative, you cannot be creative and not be
productive, and you cannot productive and not be successful”
Discipline can
also be defined as operating as demanded and not as convenient.
Discipline is
the trademark of any sport star, and so it is for any highly successful man in
any field.
THE DEMAND OF DILIGENCE
“By much
slothfulness the building decayeth; and through idleness of the hands the house
droppeth through”. – Eccle 10:18
Nothing is a
Substitute For Hard work In The Pursuit Of Success
Christ the
living word of God himself; the most anointed that walked on the planet earth
still had to work to fulfill his mission. (Jn 5:17, Jn9: 4)
Paul, a man of
great revelation and endowed with a unique spirit of faith and grace
said: “…but I laboured more abundantly than them all…” (1Cor 15:10)
Only hard
workers become high flyers (Pr 10:4, 12:24, 13:4, 20:4, 22:29)
Abraham was a
hard worker; Isaac, a tireless worker; and Jacob, a creative worker.
You too must
start working in order for things to begin and continue to work for you.
Therefore;
“Whatsoever
thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might;…”. Eccle 9:10
PRAYERS
1.Lord, Jehovah Jireh, El-shaddai, I adore
and worship you for you are the only one who can lift us up and as well give us
the power to make wealth. By god wisdom, I gain access to abundant financial
treasure and wealth. There is no lack or insufficiency in my domain( Proverbs
24:3).
2. I thank you for making me to prosper,
thou hast blessed the labour of my hands and have taken me from nothing to
something.
3. Lord, I worship you because you are the
only one that maketh rich and added no sorrow with it.
4. Father in the name of Jesus, give me
your divine power to make wealth for without you it is impossible.
5. Lord, bless me financially and made me
a financial blessing to my family, children, relatives and friends in the name
of Jesus.
6. Give unto me O Lord, wisdom,
understanding, knowledge, idea and information to make wealth. Grant me favor
in the sight of men and women in Jesus name.
7.I destroy every root of poverty in my
life, in the name of Jesus.
8. I destroy by fire of the holy ghost,
every strong man in my foundation assigned to make me poor in the name of
Jesus.
9. I command every gates closed against me
financially to open in the name of Jesus. I command every of my financial
blessings that has been withheld to be released in the name of Jesus.
10. Lord, give unto me the hidden secret
of the riches, so that only your name shall be magnified in the name of Jesus.
11. Lord, by thy power, you raised Lazarus
from the dead, raise my financial prosperity today in the name of Jesus.
12. In this new year 2015, let financial
exploits be my portion in the name of Jesus.
13. Heavenly Father, I am your sons, the power
to breakthrough over financial limitation, released it to me in the name of
Jesus.
14. Every spiritual force, pressing my
business down, be burnt by the fire of the holy ghost in the name of Jesus.

My sister’s has been

prophesied he was going to be called for a job, to the Glory of God he was
