Ambode, Wife, Others Set For The 5th Nigeria Impact Awards

Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode; the executive governor of Lagos state, his wife, Bolanle and his top aides are all set for the 5th Nigeria Impact Awards, coordinator of the awards, Emeka Nwaneri confirmed.

‘Feelers from the award nomination & selection committee has shown that Governor Ambode might bag two of our prominent awards, he is coming to pick the award himself as he will be welcoming the guest speaker, Dimeji Bankole as the chief host’.

‘The wife of the Governor, Mrs Bolanle Ambode also top the category of Most Supportive Wife of Governor award and she’s most likely to accompany her husband. The Lagos team led by Governor Ambode, his wife, the honourable commissioner for information & strategies, Mr. Steve Ayorinde as well as the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr. Habib Aruna will storm R&A Hotels to honour the NIA, Nwaneri enthused in a statement released in Lagos this morning.

Meanwhile in a phone chat with the founder of the awards, Omooba Damilare Oloyede, he expressed his delight in the person of Governor Ambode.

‘Ambode is concerned about the positive progress of Lagos, he loves the youth, he is determined to create lasting legacies in Lagos, I think all these made him earn so much respect from our team, as he is our chief host, he is likely a double award winner and the wife is also going home with an award’ Oloyede explains.

The guest speaker for this year’s event is a former Speaker of the House of representatives, Rt. Hon. Dimeji Bankole and the special guest of honour is incumbent speaker, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara.

The 5th Nigeria Impact Awards holds on Sunday, 27th of November at the exquisite R&A City Hotels, Allen Avenue, Ikeja. Lagos.
